Managing Agency Partners (MAP) was formed in 2000 with the goal of creating an independent, underwriting driven business operating within the Lloyd’s market. With an emphasis on tight control of expenses and a lean operating structure, its strategy from the start has been able to flex its business according to market conditions. Two decades on, these fundamentals remain unchanged. The business remains one of the few employee owned Lloyd’s managing agencies with all capital supporting its two syndicate provided from third party sources. It has been this emphasis on traditional values, providing the framework for its empowered underwriters, that has delivered results that are consistently amongst the best in the market.
